Just out of interest, what sort of price would you be looking for when you sell your current PC to make way for i7?
Anyway, I think that the 1100W PSU is overkill for the rig you're building (even with the second card in SLI) but I suppose it's a good brand and should last a while so the wattage may come in hand further on down the line. The case is excellent, as is the motherboard/CPU combo. The Spinpoint is another fantastic choice. Overall, it's a nice spec and you really seem to have done your homework.

You must have some money burning a hole in your pocket? stick with your 9450 setup and upgrade the GPU to the 275 and save your cash for a bigger jump.

Isnt that enough reason to upgrade? It was in my hayday of "tinkering" and seeing how many mobo's and chips I could fry then I got married and most of that went out the window (no pun intented).

Sounds nice. I'm sure I've seen some black and white themed liquid-cooled mods before and from memory, they turned out quite nice. They only thing I would say to you is plan your mod carefully, it's all too easy to bodge something up and not be happy with the end result so plan as much as possible and take your time.

I would definitely stick with the current setup and mod it if you're not happy. No need to spend all that money when your existing setup is far from old.
