To be fair, it was a charity auction. They often get bids for things that are a bit mad. May be a tax thing.

It will almost certainly be tax deductible. It will also be for a new product that is not out yet, so will probably be one of the first Mac Pros out there.

Maybe they could do a Rolls-Royce colour system. If you can pick it we will paint it in that colour. It would probably be popular with companies wanting them to be co-ordinated with their corporate livery.

A lot of laptop makers do that already. You can either have your corporate colour on the lid or your logo printed on the lid - if you buy enough of them.
