Nice price but the big problem is that it makes your wall paper look blocky.

The one behind the screen? On your wall? I'll just use some nice full res photos from my DSLR Very nice, would like to know what ports it'll have though before I'd get it, DP and HDMI are a minimum

I think it'll have to as those are the only connection protocols that support a screen that resolution. In fact I think it'll have to be HDMI 1.4...

I'm a monitor whore at the best of times, so as and when I can afford these I'll be over them like a rash. Might need to upgrade the GPU in the desktop to run two of them, but I think the MacBook Pro can run them both in it's current configuration.
Not sure if anyone makes a displayport KVM switch mind...

Not sure, support for say VGA at lower res (1080 even) would be handy for a legacy machine or in my case a server that is there incase it gets booted from network and HDMI for a games console
