The thing to do is button or zip them up when you go out in the rain, or you will get wet.

You cant have a technology based forum without some flame wars now and again.
I innocently ask for some advice on FB about buying a camera (to a friend who is also a pro photoguy) and wow  I though the PC vs Mac debate got heated at times.
Nikon VS Canon now theres a bun fight and a half.  :o

You see, the car metaphor really does work...

I always liken the PC vs Mac thing to classic vs modern sports cars.

PC users are like owners of classic British cars - yer MGs, Morgans, Triumphs, etc - which need coaxing and tinkering with all the time to get the best out of them. They go like stink, but need constant attentions.

Mac users just buy a modern car and enjoy the drive.

Each has their merits. I'd love a classic MG, but I don't want to spend my weekends in sump oil and spark plugs, so I bought a car that just does what it does with no fuss.

See? Same, but different.

It's quite true about the cars.. Though give me a new Civic over a Ferrari any day!

But still I would rather have a classic Ford GT or Dodge Charger than their new equivalents, even though I know that the new versions are better in every way (except for to the enthusiasts, who say "the ride is different, it's too easy etc etc).
