This looks rather good. I hope it works as well as they claim it does.

It’s a pressure sensitive stylus with a small point, no lumpy bit of conductive rubber or a funny disc.

The downside is that palm rejection is patchily supported. In the bigger player art working apps, it’s not supported at all for various reasons (most notably that they use gestures for other features).

You actually got one? And if so, where from? I was going to get the one the Paper blokes are selling but they've still not managed to get it shipping outside the US.

I don't have one of the new ones, but I do have its predecessor, and that's very good. The only downside is the nib, which is a little transparent disc. It works well. I use ProCreate, and that let's you tune and save tools.

I got mine direct from Adonit. They sent me a voucher code for 50% off because Apple broke the API's support for the previous version of the stylus. These will likely turn up on Amazon.

As an addition to this post, Adobe have announced their pen and ruler set. No UK pricing for that, but it adds to the stylus market. I believe that Adonit developed Adobe's offering, so the innards will be fairly similar.

I asked the Paper support if they were going to support Adonit's styluses a while back, and I got a very firm "no". Their own stylus doesn't currently offer pressure support.

Ooh, this is is interesting...

Air Stylus (iTunes link)

Looks like it allows you to 'throw' the ipad screen to a Mac screen when using a pressure sensitive tablet. Not sure how it differs from standard airplay (maybe that doesn't support pressure sensitivity?) and it's a bit expensive but.. interesting.

Update : ooh, no, it apparently makes it work as a stylus on the mac, so you can use 'full fat' drawing and painting apps. Suddenly more useful.

Far cheaper than a Wacom Cintiq. Very interesting.

A raft of Adobe apps have appeared on the App Store this week, all to support their pen and ruler. What's encouraging is that these apps support the Adonit styluses (and, it appears, others), and not just their own hardware.
