OK, I have a 700W decent PSU which I figure should be enough for xfire. However, my 4870 is currently eating both 6-pin connectors on my PSU. If I went Xfire how am I going to power the other card? Am I going to have to use the "generic" end of the PSU and some adapters? The PSU is a modular Coolermaster "Real Power" M700. |

You can get 4-pin molex to PCI-E connectors that'll work. My GTX260 came with some. It has been done before - there isn't enough power to run two GTX 280's but enough for two 4870's/GTX 260's (apparently) Clicky |
