I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's horrible.
Everyone (literally) on Twitter is raving about it. To me it's just ugly.

I like it - even though I can see why people think it looks odd.

Shame it doesn't have a proper keyboard. If it had the Mac Plus keyboard, I'd think about buying one...
I like what they have done, but it looks odd. I'd have preferred an original case with new internals.

Clacky . It's got a USB port and you'd just need a USB to ADB adapter of some sort - but I'd assume that's true whatever you wanted to plug a Mac+ keyboard into these days. I really do wish Apple would make a version of their current wireless keyboard with a numeric keypad. You can get 'add on' numeric keypads but that does seem a bit of a bodge. Screen wouldn't fit. The original Mac screens were 9" and the smallest Macbook screen is 11". Jon

I love the Apple wireless keyboard sans numeric keypad. Those bloody keypads are a total waste of space on keyboards as far as I'm concerned. I was quite chuffed when Apple released it, now I just would like to get one of the no-longer available wired ones so I can connect it to my Mac mini. Mark

Do you mean wired sans numpad?

I bought a wired kb with the numpad purely for use with some editors that I was using at the time. But I don't think I've used the numpad for the past 2 years. Lol!

Put me in the numpad keyboard camp. I do a reasonable amount of stuff with spreadsheets and the numpad makes things much easier. Especially with a keyboard that includes a tab key in the numpad. Didn't the Mac+ keyboard use a telephone type connector? I seem to recal using them at school. For those hankering after a wired Apple Extended Keyboard (Okay, it's not the Mac+ keyboard) you could try this. They also do a wired numpad-less version of the same. Available in the UK from The Keyboard Company. While they clearly don't have any competent web designers I've bought a keyboard from them and the service was very good

£120!!!!! I'd almost consider a wireless version, but you'd have to be stark mental to pay 120 quid for a USB keyboard, no matter how nice. Plus Apple actually do do a full size wired keyboard anyway. It's the lack of a full size bluetooth one that bothers me.

Perhaps. I suggest for your health you don't go and have a look at how much you can pay for a mechanical gaming keyboard.

Oh, I'm well aware. Make it angular and black, put a green LED in it somewhere, put 'gaming' on the box and add a few multipliers to the price.

As I spend a lot of time entering series of numbers into ERP software, Excel tables etc. I am very happy with numeric keypads and would never buy a keyboard without one - well, the Type Cover on my tablet doesn't have one, but I have a Logitech wireless keyboard, with num pad, at the office for it. I also have a Razer Black Widow keyboard with Cherry mechanical keys, that cost about a hundred quid in a sale last year. Excellent keyboard and well worth the money.
