I've currently got Windows Vista installed on my C:/ partition on one hard drive, and Windows 7 installed on the D:/ partition on the same drive.
I've also got Windows 7 installed on the I:/ drive, which is a separate disk drive.
Was wondering if I formatted it, would it still give me three options of what to boot into when powering up? IIRC that's how I moved to XP from 2000 and for months it asked me what version of Windows I wanted to boot into, even though the Win2000 disk drive was empty.
Don't want to break this PC!
Oh and i'm not intending on Dual-booting in the end, i'll be going with Windows 7 (Even though I hate it to bits). But only when I can give up my precious precious Vista for good.
After installing the OS you choose it sometimes still gives the dual boot option. But I find that after install if you use the repair options on install disc this seems to correct the issue.
