all i can think off is put the case back in the antec 1200 box and strap it into the back seet ftw
and why not just photos on a flash drive like JJW009 said???

I have a Antec 1200 computer case which is heavy (upwards of 30KG) and 26" screen And I need to take it for a job interview - from Portsmouth to Milton Keyness - so it could be a London under trip with this heavy stuff hence I need a carry case/back/trolley etc for it - all the ones I found are too small or can not take the weight has any one got any suggestion? That sounds like a complete nightmare, verging on the impossible. My only advise would be to think of another way to achieve the same end! Why do you need it for interview? Do they need to see it, including screen? Photos or video on a USB key would be much easier to carry. If you really need it, then you're looking for a "heavy duty sack barrow". I was thinking something along the lines of a folding crate? Staples sell this one for £35.00, however there are a few on eBay for about £15.00 including delivery. Peter. |

The antec 1200 case alone is 17-20KG I have 4 hard drives as well amd 6000x2 cpu - they are not the lightest thing - when it was in the 900 case it tiped the scales at 20-25 KG I was thinking of water cooling for the next upgrade - but I not sure to do that after I go to the i7 CPU and 12GB of ram thanks for your help - I should have said I taking on holiday for a week with me then to the interview then home - but I leave Friday night the interview is for a computer tec/teaching job/librarian and I will use the computer to show stuff that I have done and worked on - because the NHS will not let me use there 1mb network connection and plug an unknow computer into there network - working in the NHS they ban and block all manner of stuff and esp programs which I have on my computer the the NHS will not run in a million years it be 2020 before they think about upgrading to IE7 from IE6 Thanks for everyones help Mark |

no its not - I have taken a sack trolley from work (I return it tomorrow or next week) but a church group lead just phone me and said he got one that I can borrow so hopefully all well and good Mark |

I have a Thermaltake Armour so I can relate with the weight thing - I can lift it just about, but it is definitely over 25kg- I put mine on castors that I salvaged from an old Ikea filing cabinet...Not great outdoors though! My usual carry case has a Honda badge, but that isn't much help to you! |

Hope the computer still works by the time it has been jolted around during your travel, they are not designed for transporting. Why can't you use a laptop like most travelers? Can put same software on that to show at interview. Will look more impressive than turning up with a full blown desktop and screen. |

That's a good point. The hard drives will especially require careful handling, so make sure the machine isn't dropped or handled roughly. A lot of laptop hard drive spindles tend to go into a safe position for transportation when shut down, but I'm not sure desktop ones do. Peter. |

It should probably be ok, so long as it's not jolted too much. I've dragged many a Mac across town and country without any grief. Again, I'm curious as to why you need to bring both unit and monitor, and I'd second the use of a sack barrow type affair if you're dead set on this idea. But you're not going to make any friends on the underground, just be warned. |
