I don't have access to the version of OWA you have, so I can't really say what you'd see in that version. Usually in OWA you dont' see shared mailboxes in your folder list, you do 'open other mailbox' from the options menu to get to them in anew window. However having two accounts in your exchange system with the same account name (i.e. the bit before the @) is odd and not at all a standard way of doing things. Given you probably didn't do that it means they did. Technically, if the two addresses have different domain parts (i.e the bit after the @) and both domains are configured for your exchange service (technically, both domains are in the 'accepted domains' list for your exchange) then it's not actually 'broken' but it doesn't surprise me it's causing weird things to happen.
