No regrets here, but then I only spent £8. That's less than half of what I spend on a bottle of vodka. |

Spent the £25 here and not regretting it at all. After Tiger I felt that Leopard slowed my Macbook down, it came with great new features, but it was sluggish at times. Snow Leopard has given the machine a new lease of life, it's definitely worth it! |

Sure, there are not really any new features to speak of, but it was only £19 (or £8 for me). Compare this to Windows users who will be paying £80-£200 for a service pack that removes most of Vista's features (some games, movie maker, messenger, Outlook Express/Windows Mail, photo gallery) and screws up the task bar. That's the most expensive uninstaller I've ever seen! SL feels far less sluggish than Leonard, has a few nice dock & UI changes and frees up some space. For £8-£19 that's a bargain in my book. |

Best upgrade I've had yet. Leopard was good, but it made the machine a little sluggish. SL seems to respond much better. I haven't had any app problems yet. |

Likewise, my Mac feels a bit snappier now. A memory upgrade is the next thing to get. |

Why is there so much negativity over Snow Leopard, especially in the press? ZDNet have been crucifying it - it breaks music I/O switchers (but that is now built into the volume control on the menu bar anyway), it shipped with an outdated version of Flash (Adobe didn't release the updated version until after SL had go to the DVD press  ) and now Apple are bringing out 10.6.1 patch to fix problems found and fixed since SL was pressed. All of these things are shown in a negative light, yet XP, Vista and Linux all had exactly the same issues on launch - and Windows 7 will have at least 1 patch, for the chkdsk "show stopper" bug (ZDNet terminology for a minor bug affecting an infitesimally small percentage of users) ...

Any chance to attack an otherwise superb Operating System. You expect Windows to break, you don't expect anything but good things from OS X.

Frankly, I've paid more than 25 quid for shareware that does far less than SL does in terms of speeding up my workflow. The new 'doc centric' expose on it's own is worth the cash to me and the fact the finder beach-balls far less often is a major boon as well. Plus as we speak I'm in the middle of an install of Exchange 2010 (don't tell anyone) and having proper client integration with my Mac apps makes the meercat dance. Jon |

Not me. 10.6.0 seems to have less broken bits than 10.5.8 did - they've even fixed the Activity Monitor!

I regret not getting an intel-dual core Mac =( Stuck with a PowerMac G5 and I desperately want SL! If only because the machine grinds to a halt when I try to do anything more intensive than browsing t'interwebs and listening to music. |

Well, starting with Snow Leopard early means that I have found a problem with a Freeway Action with it. At times, it helps to be ahead of others. I’ve just spotted someone on the mailing list for Freeway asking about this very problem. |
