Hi,

My MBP has 2GB of 667MHz RAM but how can I find out what the fastest RAM is that i compatible with my MBP?

The system profiler says the Bus Speed is 800MHz if that means anything.

Ah, I didn't know they did Mac stuff (I mean the detector thingy). Anyway, turns out that 667MHz is the fastest for my MBP. It will go up to 4GB though which I can buy for £40.

<--- tempted.

You can usually find Crucial RAM cheaper on Ebuyer:

Do eBuyer do free postage, like Crucial, or once you've added the postage are eBuyer about the same though?

Edit - Just bought some RAM on Saturday from Crucial for £20.97 with free delivery, the cheapest option for delivery with eBuyer for the same RAM comes out as £22.57.

I would've bought from Ebuyer but for some bizarre reason they have suspended my account telling me that I have used my card with a different Ebuyer account.

I have never bought anything from Ebuyer in he past and I had only just set up the account that they then suspended.

I CBA fising it as it means calling them on a fracking expensive telephone number to get it fixed.

Use the geographical number, much cheaper: 01430 433605 (from Saynoto0870.com)
