Buy a preowned kit The corsair one wont be that good, you wont be able to upgrade/replace bits that go wrong and preowned is generally very cheap |

Dude, if you could get a cheap 775 waterblock of ebay, and a 12v pump (We could maybe use a heater matrix pump - i have one in the garage) me and you could build one. Use a radiator off a motorbike ![]() |

A lot of people (at least on XS) did use heatercores for a while as radiators for their rigs Just be sure to clean it ![]() http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Swiftech-Apogee-G ... 286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XSPC-Single-Bay-R ... 286.c0.m14 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XSPC-RS240-Black- ... 286.c0.m14 + possibly some new fittings, 1/2" ID tubing (well 12mm in B&Q), some jubilee clips and the fluid to fill it and you're good to go pretty much You could even skip the reservoir/pump if you get a separate pump and go for a T-line instead, but they are a bugger to drain |

Dear god that will suck compared to a decent air fan like a Xigmatek or Scythe or Tuniq! If you are interested I will probably be selling my pa120.3 in a week or so as I can't fit it in any of the cases I am looking to get (aside from a TJ07...but that is a lot of money) so I'll probably get a different one, will have some gpu blocks to sell also |

That Corsair kit is pretty much identical to the siberian tiger kit, and that sucked big time. Yet, the Corsair kit is getting better reviews?? ![]() Keep an eye on clearance lines on the major component seller's sites. I picked up a 'B Grade' Swiftech H2O 220 Compact for about £45 + shipping. It was only missing the hydrx additive. Regards Spreadie |

But, seeing as that was how the original water cooling loops were made, I'm sure it'll be fine ![]() Just make sure everything's done up tight. |

Post subject: | Re: Favour Please :D (Cooling) | |||||||||
When building a loop, you do a dry install first; to make sure you're happy with component placement, tubing length etc... After that, you remove it from your chassis, assemble it, fill it then run it and check for leaks. Chances are, if it doesn't leak during testing, it wont leak when you re-fit the loop in your chassis. Unless, of course, you bungle the job or break something during reassembly. |
