(That's Ubuntu 9.04 to the uninitiated).
Anyone used this yet? I was a good boy and waited for the general release, performing both upgrades from Intrepid and clean installs, and all I can say is "WOW". The whole experience seems much cleaner, smoother and is a real pleasure to use. I like the default installation so much I haven't bothered tweaking it yet, and it's even convinced me to ditch KDE in favour of GNOME.
This is a brilliant release I feel, and I can't wait to see the cosmetic changes coming in 9.10 - it could be a winner!

i've only done clean installs of it as upgrades kept breaking my VM... other than a few cosmetic tweaks I've not noticed all that much difference...

Have been using it since the beta, great OS. Ubuntu is improving consistently at the moment. EXT4 gives a welcome speed boost too.
