Okay, so I was a little bit drunk last night and decided to buy an iMac on eBay.

If all goes well then I suppose I'll be happy but I'm a bit nervous. The listing is CRAP!

But it is listed as being in new condition so meh. I paid £600 for the 21.5 incher, and I do need a new machine - the MacBook is getting a bit flakey these days!

Good luck. Let us know how it arrives.

I almost bough a 27" one the other day but with the dodgy gpu's I'm glad I didn't.

Gues what - the cheeky bugger sent me a message today saying they're not willing to sell!!

My winning bid was £604 and (s)he reckons it cost them £1999, it's brand new in the box and they've got the receipt.

They didn't have a reserve, and I won the auction fair and square.

If they had spent five minutes preparing a listing rather than just putting a one sentance description then perhaps they'd have got a higher price.

Argh.

Get on to eBay. They're being very naughty, and technically it's yours as you won the auction.

They were probably drunk too. It’s that time of year.

Definately report the cheeky gits!

And if the £2k price tag is to be believed they must have upgraded every bit of the hardware when they bought it, no? Chancing it I reckon!

But there's nothing eBay can do.

As if an e-mail or two from a faceless corporation is going to make him decide that yes he will let it go for £604.

I will report him though - I just won't expect anything to come of it.

Now I've got a Mac Mini in the post! It was sent today, and I have paid £400 for:

24" monitor
New style apple keyboard
Microsoft bluetooth mouse
Unibrain webcam
Logitech microphone

The Mini itself is a 1.83 Core 2 duo model.

I'm pretty pleased - and once it has arrived I'll swap hard drives over so I have more space on the Mini then flog my MacBook.

How much do you reckon it's worth? It's a 1.83 duo with 2GB of RAM and 80GB HDD. Got some wear and tear on the body and the screen also. Thinking of putting a £150 reserve on. Any thoughts?
