I'm having issues with my mates Flickr account. Specifically, I'm not able to leave comments on some of the images he's uploading from his 'phone.
Could you all let me know please if you can leave a comment on this image?
This is just one image of that set I can't leave a comment on simply because the comment box is absent from the page.
It's not like this on every image he uploads, but there appears to be no discernible pattern to it.

Okay folks, problem solved. For anyone else that encounters this problem here's the solution* …
In Flickr > Organise & Create > Your Sets & Collections > select the set that contains the problem images > Batch Edit > Change Permissions > expand the More Options > change the Who Can Comment.
After that go back and reset the permissions to allow comments and viola.
