Evening all,
Is there anyway to get windows 7 to show RAW images as thumbnails rather than icons when in a folder?
I don't really want to fire up apps just to do a bit of organising.

Evening all, Is there anyway to get windows 7 to show RAW images as thumbnails rather than icons when in a folder? I don't really want to fire up apps just to do a bit of organising. Thanks in advance.

Set the folder to display tiles ............ Is that what you meant

Currently whatever display setting for folders I use just gives me an icon saying which app is used to open the file, and not a thumbnail of the image. |

Ok try this Open the folder, click on organize, properties, customize, optomise this folder for = Photographs. Then all icons setting will use images in files.

It's the main picture library so already setup for photos. Anyway I've found a codec from nikon for their NEF (RAW) files and it seems to work apart from not being able to rotate. Cheers, |
