hi all,
I have an problem to solve in excel.

I have a spreadsheet with multiple sheets. I can insert a new row into Sheet1 my issue is that I want the spreadsheet to automatically insert this same row into sheet 2.

I have not been able to find a solution to this hence the question in this forum.

First off welcome to the forums

Select all the tabs ( click on the first tab hold the shift key down click on the last tab ) the will all be illuminated.

On any of the tabs click on the row border you want to insert a new row at right click insert.

That will add it to all the sheets. Hope that helps.

Why did the forums close down in computer shopper?

Dennis interactive in their ultimate wisdom decided to add a new logon package to the forums ( they were contractually required to change from their old one ).

So they one had to split the forums rather than have them grouped as the new one apparently couldn't cope ! they also took 10 days to do the job !

They also forgot to tell anybody about this until the day before so we weren't exactly amused.

That's my understanding anyhows.

Anyways one of the main reasons we felt that the forums were such a success was because people from the entire spectrum of interests mingled there.

So we said bugger that we'll do our own and Saspro offered to host it ! So within 12 hours we were up and running.

We've even got some some of their staff posting here
