I have a new router and want to set it up with b/g on the 2.4Ghz band for legacy kit and n on the 5ghz band.
My iMac is supposedly 802.11n enabled (network utility lists n under the capabilities). But it doesn't seem to be able to see the 5ghz SSID.
The iMac is running the latest patched version of Snow Leopard, the router is a Netgear DGND3300Bv2
Edit: After an hour or so, it has started showing up, but with only 1 bar, the 2.4Ghz has 4 bars signal strength...
