They're probably overheating from the stress. A lot of laptops have quite poor cooling, especially if they're full of dust.

its a badly coded flash game, and no doubt itll cause a lot of extra heat. Is this a complaint from a client/relative? if so, tell them to make sure the vents arent blocked, and to check task manager with farmville open or as many have said, just stop playing it. there are much better facebook games out there
