locking down usb ports

Can anyone remember an article about being able to lock the usb ports on a tower i need to leave one open for a usb phone
and block the rest ,i can block the front ports by not connecting them, but i can't find the article on how to turn the others off :( :( ;)

I know a company that have installed some software to prevent users from writing to USB devices and CD/DVD's but I don't know how good that would be... it's called Sanctuary and I can get some more information when I get back to the office tomorrow.

Thinking about there should be a local policy you can set...

Unless you are glueing a USB Phone cable into the port, how are you stopping them unplugging the cable and insering a USB stick?

I would guess you need to lock the ports to only accepting certain device IDs.
