I'm trying to install a Canon Pixma ip4600 printer on a remote site. The printer is connected to a Windows XP machine and shared in the network...
When I try and connect to it, from a Windows 7 64-bit machine - Windows says that there isn't a driver available and it needs to search for one...
I looked on the Canon site, but they only had "additional features" driver, which expands upon the default driver, but the default driver isn't available. Is there a way to get around this? Windows 7 isn't given me the option to search through its database of know printers, like previous versions used to, just to point to the location on disk, where the driver is stored!
