Do my eyes deceive me or do we have blue progress bars behind the URL back again?
Feels much snappier too, surprisingly.

Is it Click to Flash compatible?

I've no idea what you're talking about.

It's a plug-in/add-on that prevents Flash from loading on a page unless I ask it to.

It makes my surfing experience a joy, leaving other plug-in content working while stopping Flash in its tracks.

I wonder if I need to uninstall it before upgrading to Safari 5.

Ah. No idea as I don't use any plug-ins with Safari.

Are all Safari 5 plugins required to be signed, or can Safari 5 still use old-style plugins as well?

Don't know about Click to Flash, but I've heard that Glims (Ad Blocker) is incompatible with Safari 5 so the signs aren't good. Proceed with caution.

Me, our work Macs are stuck on Tiger 10.4 so Safari 5 is beyond our reach now, although they've released a security update for the Tiger version (Safari 4.1) so will see what extra features this has - if any.

Personally, I usually wait a week or two before upgrading, checking any plugins or extras I've installed are compatible first.
They call me "Mr Cautious" you know.

I'm pretty much the same. I, too, will sit and wait a while on Safari 5.

I'm only now considering upgrading to Snow Leopard and Aperture 3.

Click to Flash still works with Safari 5. I am not so worried about Glimmerblocker as my main bug bear was Flash ads, plus if you do not even get the ads the website loses out.
