I was not interested in any phone other than the iPhone 4 so it is not of interest to me, I would have filtered it out when reading news reports. I had no idea that they were even releasing a phone. :shock:

Neither did I, but judging by the pictures on Google Images they shouldn't have bothered.

IIRC It's US market only due to the competition with the Sidekick

Kin isn't the iPhone killer, it's the device to take over from the Sidekick in the US IIRC (mostly integrated social networking, not much else)

I wouldn't be surprised if it flopped given the range of alternative devices and general shift to smarter devices now but 500 seems very unlikely

Yes but that seems to be the wrong thing to say. Many iPod/iPhone killers have died a death already. Stop comparing it to the iPhone and make it a better phone. That is what is needed.

'Kin' is a great name, you can prefix it with so many things as well as 'foo'.
