I've seen files that you double click and they take you to a website. I need to save a weblink in a folder and was wondering if anyone knows how to make these?

Try selecting the URL in the browser window thingy and dragging it to the desktop. That makes a .webloc file.

Not sure if that works on anything other than a Mac, though.

Just replied to say that I've just tried that and it worked, but you got there first! Love macs. Yeah it's fine as it's for my reference only.

Just for reference, weblocs also work on Windows too.

I'm pretty sure the way to do it on PC would be to create a shortcut, and have the destination as the web address.

Just read Mr Arks post-so perhaps not.

Or just drag the favicon to the destination of choice which creates a shortcut to the URL.
Same process as on the Mac.
