I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with this issue. Running XP SP3 and latest version of FF. Laptop's a 1.6GHz Centrino with 1GB RAM. I think pagefile size is 768MB but may have increased this. Whenever I view a pic-heavy thread, most of the pics won't load up. The first six or seven are fine and even some of the later ones load too. But the majority don't and it's incredibly annoying. If I right click a pic, copy the link location and open in a new window/tab, I can see the pic fine. Any ideas? |

Only thought would be clear your browser cache. |

I think you might need to increase the timeout time. But I can't remember how to do it. ![]() |

Does IE work? Or Chrome? Is there any Internet Security software in place which may be responsible, such as Zone Alarm? If so, try uninstalling it. I've had a very similar problem with an old router which had DoS protection, and saw multiple attempts to download images from the same site as such an attempt. It only affected some users, because different machines were set to simultaneously download a different number of images. The work around was to either turn off the router firewall, or configure the browsers to limit the simultaneous connections. |
