I have managed to find a program that enables me to play old MS DOS games on my iMac. I am having fun playing Syndicate again, but a thinking of others. Something that I can hunt down on eBay. So any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

If you Google "abandonware" you'll find lots of sites dedicated to old software. Much of it has been "abandoned" by it's developers, and is often freely available to download. Here's a starting point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co ... s_freewareOne of my personal favourites: http://www.3drealms.com/stryker/

I tried to play a few games but the sound was a no-go. I have a dedicated machine that runs DOS/win98 but don't have space to set it up and play.

I have tried those sites and have downloaded some abandonware and freeware. So all legal as well.

Some of my favourite DOS games included 688, Retaliator, and Sherlock.
The previous two I think are abandonware, Sherlock is still under development, I have a demo version on my Mac!

I found a free version of Road Rash and Road Rash 3 both of which even run on Windows 7. I can't remember the link, but google will And it's legal!
