HI, we have bought one of these to use as a netbook while on holiday. On paper it looks like it should do everything we want access web etc via wifi & modem. We have it and are having issues access yahoo mail via wifi. Has anyone seen these and if so do you have any experience? I am now starting to wonder if we should have got a netbook instead and looked intoa 3g payg dongle... |

I've seen them but never really played with them. They appear to go through a proxy to compress the pages. Probably why you're having issues. Does it work over 3G? |

tbh I'd assume most people here would get a netbook instead (or already have a small enough laptop). If it's just for some casual surfing then the Ubisurfer should be OK but using a netbook with a payg 3g dongle will probably be a much better experience. |
