Well, HIS reckon you need pads with a thermal conducitvity of 6.0 (?) on the VRMs and the like on the GPU.

Aquatuning refer to a thermal conductivity, in this example, of 5w/mk.
That one seems to be the highest valued one I can see out there whereas Akasa thermal tape (not pad) has a thermal conducivity of 0.9 W/m.°C. FWIW that's what I put in as a stop gap and it's been working fine.
So, what the frak do you think HIS mean? They spent most of their time saying they advise not taking the cooler off....
