I steer clear of mini mice. They hurt my hand after 10 minutes.

I want a wireless mouse the same size as a normal desktop mouse. I don't need 30 buttons, and I don't want to pay over £30 :x

And I really, really don't want a USB receiver that's bigger than those nano versions. Why in the name of sanity do they still bother to manufacture the versions that stick out the back of your laptop by 2 inches?

They are fine for desktops and less likely to be lost, but much more likely to be broken.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I respectfully disagree about losing the likelihood of losing them. The nano versions will almost always spend their entire lives in the same USB port, with no fear of breakage (assuming it's not on the edge that hits the bottom of your laptop bag).

EDIT: why is it useful for the mouse to be physically smaller? It doesn't save significant space or weight, it just gives users cramp. A normal sized mouse will still balance on a small flat surface and be very usable.

Go for the mouse I linked to - the title's very deceptive. As I say, it's a good size, my hands are enormous (I'm over 6 foot) and I can comfortably use it :D
