Me too. I did try a couple of episodes of following series but that daughter was a tad irritating.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I gave up before the end of the second series as well. How come it survived a few more seasons?

I think 24 is brilliant. Yes there was a series or two where it got it a little tired but series 7 was cracking and I've been told 8 is better.
I dont want them to do a movie. Dont really see the point.

Once you've seen 8 I believe your faith will be restored. I really do have a feeling about the last 8eps. The usual final quarter game changer just happened, but this time it's very, very dark. The movie's been on the cards for a while and some cast and crew (including Kiefer) have expressed an interest in filming in London. I don't care, as long as the pace and characters remain focal, I'll be there.

I've just turned to Al Jazeera (Sky 514) - it's really rather good.
I simply got sick and tired of the election coverage on the Beeb. Al Jazeera have the election at number 3 behind the plane crash in Libya and the school killings in China.
*breathes sigh of relief*

Anyone know what's happening with the UK broadcast of Smallville season 9? I see that the US is almost finishing the season and it hasn't even started screening over here yet (unless it has and I've just missed it).

So it'll be over with in the States by the time we get it. *sigh* Ah well, I'll just have to not look up anything about it. Mark
