just need to double check this as some people on this forum know about the model that Im doing photoshoot for, shes moving to my town, as I have barely any friends IN my own town (most of friends are 17+ miles away ) I was considering asking this girl if we could hang out as friends as quite often I do feel rather bored and lonely sometimes in my own town when I cant be assed spending lots of diesel to see my semi faraway friends so its normal to ask to be friends? has anyone on this forum asked anyone similar kinda thing? I know its a tough question cos when I make friends with people ive never asked, the friendship just slowly "develops" into a proper friendship etc

don't ask her, just ask to spend time with her, if you both enjoy it, it will come with time.

try not too drown people on texts... sending more than 2-3 texts a day to a person is a lot, if they don't reply.

Nobody over the age of 7 says "will you be my friend" ... except on the social websites where you send a "friend request", which isn't quite the same.
However, as la Frenchune says you should just ask her if she wants to hang out some time. She's a stranger in town, so offer to show her around. You know where the best shops and stuff are and where to avoid. Maybe she might like a hand moving, so be your usual gentlemanly self and help her settle in. It might be exactly what she wants too, and if you become friends then that's great for both of you.

How about, assuming photo-shoot number one goes OK, asking if she wants to do another one sometime? Possibly try and get a nice day and take some shots in a local park?

This does not involve excessive hugging

Nor does it involve persistent texting or stalking.

Try just being someone's friend instead of asking for friendship.
