I wish it was mandatory for all males to be steriled? forgot the word, or their "parts" permanantly cut off so they would stop breeding human filth into this world etc also to stop them from taking advantage of girls etc, plus it would get rid of socially inept humans, ie younger people who only talk about that kinda thing which is disgusting

There's a bit of a flaw in Bratty's argument, if we want our species to continue in some form or another..
Then again, removing the ability for humans to procreate might just be a blessing in disguise.

Also, since when did sex become *only* about procreation? You can have plenty of sex without ever having babies, in addition you can have quite a fulfilling love life without the actual "P-i-V" version of intercourse.

Not as bad as Roger Boyes who wrote a Times article on child abuse within the Catholic church.

Let's think... I've been celibate since the ex upped and left back in something like 2002. I've been getting on with other stuff. It's really not very difficult.
Oh, and bratty, girls are just as bad as boys. You might just not hear it.

I wouldn't be able to cope. Going without sex for more than about 4 or 5 days makes me very tense, stressed and frustrated.
And doing the old hand-jive only helps for about an hour or two!
Also life without sex doesn't make sense - we were given then natural capabilities to reproduce and that is the only way we can continue the species so why not do it?

Sex and reproduction are different things though. Uniquely, we as a species have a luxury whereby we're thriving and we know it. Therefore, we have the luxury of being able to choose not to have children if we so desire, and instead focus on fast cars, fun and holidays. Sex is very good fun, no doubt. But it does, however, take two to tango and frankly I have high expectations and very low tolerances.

Sex and reproduction are different, but they're also inextricably linked. Evolutionary psychology ladies and gentleman. Read up. We've evolved to want sex. Deliberately denying it, is to contradict millions of years of evolution. I can tell you what life without sex is like, although Al's currently doubled my longest dry spell. It can be lonely, as a life without sex means a life without somebody special to share it with. On the other hand, it can be a life less complicated. That said, after a while it gets less and less important. The real issue is the lack of intimacy which is usually (but not always) associated with not having a significant other person in your life. Bratty, I can't wait until you meet somebody you're really into and things get "serious"
