Is this a Viz article?

The 42-year-old is paid £150 a month disability allowance because he has a 'personality disorder' which makes him 'kick off in crowds'. He has not worked since 1999 and says drinking alcohol helps him cope with his condition.

The only personality disorder seems to be a work shy tw*t of a dad who also happens to be the end of a bell

He clearly doesn't want to work as they openly fiddle the system. Being drunk or hungover is not 'ill' however.

Kick them out, cut the benefits (I mean really, getting your own council house because your sprog is energetic? really?

Tbh, I wonder how much they were paid for that story in Closer, and whether it became 'sexed up' as a result. And I also wonder is Closer a part of Desmond's empire...

The benefits agency will be almost certainly looking at their case. The fact that he was drinking to "control his personality disorder" would contradict everyone else's impression of alcohol. I know people who get really aggressive after a few drinks, in a way that would be called a personality disorder. Has the NHS given an assessment of his personality disorder?

The Houghtons moved to their current home in 2001 after being evicted from their previous house for failing to pay the rent, despite receiving housing benefit which covered it.

They freely admit they 'did it on purpose' as they wanted a new home.

Mrs Houghton said: 'We made up some b******t about Lee chucking me out as we knew if we played the game I'd get another house.'

Oopsies

I would have kept that one quiet.

I thought housing benefit for council accommodation was paid directly so no chance of non payment of rent. That said councils do not help people move once they are housed. They are considered a very low priority. So people have to abuse the system to move.
