Just watched the highlights, as Edd quoted SC lights went out, lap counter went from yellow to white and the 'SC' symbol next to the lap counter disapeared, green flags can been seen waving as the SC went in to pits and the cars came around the last corner..... wtf

You could also say that as Alonso lost control on the corner that Schumacher was avoiding an accident, and couldn't have braked because of the snake of cars behind him. He has done a lot of questionable things in his time but Alonso was fair game IMO.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Yeah, it was a great move from Michael - well done.
Especially as it was Alonso - that spoiled brat of a driver really annoys me.

Apparently Damon Hill is getting hate mail from Schumacher fans.

He was only one of 4 stewards. Let's just wait until the appeal to see what happens.

That is queer. I was originally on the side of everyone bar Mercedes, then I saw it again, and did some more research and I was agreeing with them. Now they've caused a brain implosion and I don't know what to think!

Isn't that because failed appeals can result in greater penalties? They had a go, which was fun, but don't want to push it.

FIA to clear up last-lap safety car rules - If they feel the need then surely they need to look at MS 20sec penalty?
