Just looked on my personal laptop, MS Security Essentials is using about 5MB.

Just bought a new copy of Acronis True Image Home 2010, price has fallen here, paid about 50€ for the one in the office, but it is currently only about 29€.
Anyway, it has a 90 day free trial for 3 PCs for Acronis Internet Security Suite 2010... Has anybody tried it. Can't say I've ever seen it before.

AVG Free here, replaced a godawfully slow + update-refusing McAfee. No noticeable speed drops but we're lucky to get around 16MB/s here from O2 (almost certainly by luck, we pay for the basic 8MB package), the fastest in our area by some margin.
I'm also testing out MS Security Essentials on the in-laws, no crises yet!

I've just started using F-Secure on Windows 7 at work and I've found it to be pretty good so far. Having said that, that's on a brand new install with only the basics installed. Perhaps I will learn to hate it as time passes!

ZoneAlarm on W7 and Vista - covers AV, firewall and spam all together. Very light load and uses very little memory (2.4MB at most). Scans fast too. Overall I'd give it 90%.

And the updates come with the OS patches which is good for those that never update their AV or turn it off because "It's irritating to get a popup telling me I need to update"

Not so good for those who turn Automatic Update off though.

Yeah but they have worse things to worry about such as not having an OS with the security fixes
