Did she think she was going to do a Santa and drop out of the bottom? Maybe go back up using magic dust?

Chimneys are so messy anyway. She would hardly be looking her best when she got in.

I wonder how long it took her to choke to death with her chest tightly constricted as she was wedged in, unable to move or scream for help. What an absolutely horrifying way to die.

It reminds me of the Christmas story told by the girl in Gremlins...

Darwin Award?
There's a reason the Victorians used children rather than adults to clean chimneys.

Kucky it wasn't winter or someone may have started the fire.

I stumbled on that earlier, it's awful, poor woman. Same thing happened to a family friend of ours' house in France, a burglar tried to come in through the chimney and got stuck. His partner legged it and she didn't find him 'till a few months later.

For that case I have no sympathy at all, though I do for the current case. If criminals hurt themselves, then they deserve it.

Well I don't have a lot of sympathy either, but it's a bloody awful way to go!

What a crazy thing to do! I can't imagine the sense of horror and panic, though.

If she had been left long enough, she probably would have made it down, as a pile of bones.

Just place a bag to catch them and a lot easier to remove as well.
