Deposit paid on an Audi A4 1.8T Sport Insurance increase from my Honda Accord was only 3 pence

That's quite a step up from an Accord. Pay rise? Lottery win? Tax rebate?

Accord was written off when some lass went into the back of me (that said I didn't have to put any money towards the Audi that I didn't have to one side) It's not massively new (2000) but has low mileage for the age (65k or so), decent nick (couple of small rust patches that can be cleaned + treated and some scratches on the bumpers that could use a smooth down and respray, otherwise it looks brand new from the outside) and in need of someone with a heavy right foot, was amazed how I put it into 5th at 20mph in the trial bit and it was smoother than James Bond with the ladies and goes like poop off a shovel when I want it to Still waiting on the insurance check for the car alone (will get a separate one for personal injury) that will be going towards clearing out any debt (aim to get debt free by 1st Jan 2012 except for my student loan) and servicing costs on the Audi, but know of a very well respected local specialist that doesn't charge an arm and a leg I was surprised how easy it was to fit in it tbh, tried an A3 1.8T sport at a Saab dealership and it was too small, couldn't get the steering wheel up enough and kept hitting my knees off it, A4 was a case of move the seat back, drop it and boot it , first thing to go is the big boy gearstick, it's like changing gear with a squidgy 8-ball (like when I had a Ford Ka as a courtesy car when the radiator on my Accord went)

Yeah but it was one of the few cars that was big enough for me to fit in and within budget locally, 3 series BMW was just too small or I had poor visibility that low, even the new Accord was a tight fit, and the new Civic was a no no, hit me head on the way in and my legs on the way out) Look forward to getting it on Tuesday.... not looking forward to filling it up then giving it a warm up on the way home I was set on a Fabia vRS, Leon FR TDi or a 3 series, but the 3 series was just too small as was the FR TDi and the vRS was a big disappointment in terms of quality Going to work on the bodywork and hopefully get some of the scratches out soon and some nice photos shall follow

Orange got chummy with T-Mobile, and now I, a lowly PAYG customer, am allowed access to whichever network gives the best signal strength at no extra cost.

The XBox Kinect is fracking awesome! It is made of win Also, the "massive lag" is somewhere less than quarter of a second. I'd say even maybe 1/6 or 1/8 of a second.
