I was hoping the sun might be shining today. It was clear at some point overnight. We have some spectacular icicles on the back of the house, and a little low sun would have been just perfect for some photosnaptography.

Now it's just blanket low cloud and mist.

-3.5 degrees, the road outside my house was solid ice.

Enabled traction control mode 2 and drove off. I love my car.

Breakfast being delivered as well.

Sweet

Good Morning all

Knackered this morning and overslept a bit so a bit of a rush to make the train – not a good idea when the roads are one large ice staking rink

Might be due to going out to a FAB steak restaurant – lots of very good quality dead cow – yum!

Anyway its Friday so its reports day

Later all

Lo peeps

Tired today. Reason = wife phoned at 11:30 last night to say the car was stuck :o Minus 16*C and she had parked up a side lane to babysit for some friends. Perfectly good (cleared) car park just over 50 yards from the house but no, she had to get as close to the front door as possible. So it was get the kids up, dressed, de-ice my car, drive to Elgin, dig her out and back to bed just before 1am :(

Grumpy wife....
Grumpy kids....
And I'm not in the best of moods either........

Al

Moin moin

Still laughing at the farce that was the FIFA Eurovision Bung Contest yesterday - it's exactly why I don't watch international football anymore.

Ho hum. Still, at least we have an Olympics to fail at so not a complete loss.

-8°C here, some light icing on the road, winter tyres mean that doing an emergency stop is required to get the ABS to cut in.

Had our company do yesterday, 10:30 until we went home, I was the first to leave at 21:30, as I had been on the go since 05:00 and my girlfriend had to get up early.

Visited the Artland Brewery in the morning, had bread with herb quark for lunch. Then a bus tour through Artland, very interesting, before landing at an African restaurant for the evening meal. Coconut milk curry soup, with King Prawns was wonderful.

Morning all,

And so another busy weekend begins... I won't go into the reaons why right now, (let's just say that it's not my fault, an this is stuff that should have been done by other people) but I have got soooo much work to get through, and not enough work time to do it in.

Oh well, have a great, (and safe) weekend everyone.

:)

The outdoors temperature is above freezing, all my lovely icicles are melting, and the snow is slowly disappearing.

It was nice while it lasted.

Morning all.
The ice lake outside has melted and left the road very wet, just in time for the -5 degree weather we're expecting tonight.

Think I'll relax for the rest of the morning whilst tidying up some of the "technoroom's" worth of computer complonents I've got

Snow melted, then refroze over night, snowing again now. Been out with the dog, then cleared the snow and ice from the drive and the pavement around the house - beginning to wish I hadn't bought a house on the corner, I have about 200M of pavement to clear! :?
