Was it something you wanted right that moment? It probably made sense at the time. :)

It's something that I've wanted for a good long while. The research has already been done. I saw this, checked it's price, dithered a little, asked a mate, bought it.
*shrug*

Sounds fine to me. It's exactly what I do.

Yeah, my right's a fair bit weaker. But I'm right handed. I throw a ball, punch and play basketball with my left though. Weird.

Great little gadget for not a lot of cash.

I'm starting my shift in a really bad mood.
I've booked my holidays six months in advance and my boss is getting arsey becasue I can't fit a two week trip in between the periods I've booked off.
YOU'VE GOT SIX MONTHS NOTICE. ORGANISE SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!

I wondered why it had suddenly gone dark.

My netbook seems to think it's 2005 - even worse, I wish it was

Why do some businesses feel they can avoid paying outstanding invoices?

I invoiced for some work back in September. I've not chased it, because (a) I hate doing it, and (b) I hate doing it. I've lost my rag now. After a reminder a couple of weeks ago, which has also been ignored, I've sent the reminder again.

This time, there's a deadline. If they don't pay up, I'm adding monthly interest, backdated to the original invoice date, and reserved the right to take legal measures to get paid.

All in all, a lot of aggro for an invoice that probably comes in at less than their tea fund kitty each week.

UPDATE: Seems the mildly threatening nature may have worked. I await a cheque...

He wasn't counting, which is probably a good thing.
He hasn't had any this month yet, so if you wanted to start a thread about it where he can keep you updated (if you care that much) then feel free to do so.

Without it there would be no known result => no suspense.

Browser tabs. My housemate has stolen them for a week.
