Hot cross buns. Toasted with lashings of (I can't believe it's not) butter.

It's less on my mind and more in my belly :D

if you really yearn for gray hair? then why dont you become a decorator or painter then surely you will get white bits of paint stuck to your hair without realising plus its cheaper than dying it white?

I liked it until they started going to other planets, always a death-knell for comic book stuff :(

I watched a few eps of that when it was on kids TV, but all I really remember is the theme tune

There was a live action US TV series too, but I've never seen it.

I've never seen the cartoon, but the film is absolutely sh!t. Apparently there's going to be a 3D remake. I'm not sure I dare watch it.

The GN was absolutely fantastic, definitely in my top 3 all-time.

See, I caught Swamp Thing late on BBC1 many moons ago when I was a kid. Even then I knew it certainly wasn't the best film in the world, but it's still more watchable for me than some recent comic book efforts

Didn't know there was to be a remake, must look into that... The sequel's watchable in a truly bad way - cheese and Heather Locklear FTW!

I own some of the GNs but haven't read them, as they've gotten shifted around from the day they arrived

I knew I wasn't bloody dreaming when I thought *we're not worthy* was in it, but I checked IMDB and it wasn't her. I'd forgotten there was a sequel, but I obviously watched it and mixed the two films together in my head!

When they surface, best skim the first few stories quite quickly because it gets really good after "The Anatomy Lesson" when he realises his true nature. The writers changed, can't remember who did what because I've not read it since 1990, but you can really tell!

I really should buy it. I borrowed it from a friend when I was at college, and it pretty much got me hooked on the DC universe.

Yesterday the committee spent under ten minutes discussing financial implications of staff cuts/project funding cuts etc. Today they spent twenty minutes discussing whether to put double yellow lines outside a Post Office which is a parcel pick up point

They agreed the financial cuts unanimously but deferred the yellow lines decision in order that a further report be compiled to clarify the situation. The financial cuts were to the team that compiled the roads report in the first place

Brewery and pi$$ up come to mind........
