Ooooo - which one you getting???? Later this year I'm investing in a Canon 70-200 L USM IS with convertor (1.4x) and perhaps next year a real camera - 5D Mk II However, this weekend I mostly be trying to rest up and get rid of the pain.... Al

I just bought a new sandwich toaster. Should keep me going while I read through the list of requests.

This weekend, now that I've finished work, I shall mostly be tidying my flat in preparation for moving out. Perhaps also introducing my girlfriend to the wonders of "The Empire Strikes Back", as she still hasn't seen it! Technically for me the weekend is Sunday and Monday, but I've got a pupil with a test on Monday morning, and a photography job that I should really do in the afternoon assuming the weather is sufficiently nice.

Went to the gym, went to the football, cooked a Thai curry, did a bit of surfing (the web, not the sea)
Tomorrow I'm going round the local Farmer's market (which has really great fish, paradoxically) probably gym again then off to parents for Sunday tea to be introduced to my recently born nephew.

Did you go to a big game or a local game Jon? (or both)
Had my tattoo done this morning, and planned the next one, went into town with a friend this afternoon and then came home to watch the football.
Think I might go to the cinema tomorrow (recommendations?), then probably have a relax and help Sas out here. Must also find time to get some photos of the tattoo uploaded.

Only one game for me Blue . Terrible first half, better second. Apparently you can actually elbow somebody in the back in the penalty area now. Not sure when that rule change came in.. If you like understated horror movies and you can find it, "let the right one in" is brilliant. "In The Loop" is also good, especially if you liked 'the thick of it'. Not sure if it's opened yet, but the Wolverine film looks interesting if you're going for a blockbuster. Jon

This weekend? I have done nothing so far, it's been pretty good, tomorrow? Probably cycling to Halfords for more paint, and getting my application form sent off.

Thank you, not sure if the Wolverine film is open here yet, and I can't find the other two you mentioned in our local listing, I'll have to pick from what we've got available; which isn't much.

Wolverine is out on 29th (a Wednesday...uh?). Fast and Furious is awesome though, if you liked the 1st one.

Went sailing on the Broads on Saturday and was to do the same today, but the kid-sitter couldn't make it, so stayed home instead - should be able to go next Sunday though, he'll be with his mother for the day ( should be with his mother...) Took lil' un sailing once, he hated it - too much like hard work for him, I think

This weekend I was mostly being surprised by the weather. It turned out nice again On Saturday I built the front step for the new shed, which involved much digging, levelling and concrete. On Sunday I was mostly pruning overgrown shrubs. Very overgrown. You might say I was cutting down trees. I also started on a new bed to grow courgettes and stuff in. Looks like tomorrow could be OK, so more gardening on the schedule. I don't know how I ever found time to do paid work, I really don't

This weekend (sunday), I went to chatsworth with my Dad in the TVR.
There were 688 TVRs at chatsworth!
Driving back was pretty cool too, some really nice roads, which would have been better if there weren't so many bikers and other cars driving sooooo slow.

Ended up going to see Fast and Furious, and did enjoy it. Not as much as the first one, and it wasn't 'amazing' but probably just about worth the entrance money. Besides, me and the chap I went with got stopped on the way out to do a survey about the advertising before the film started, we agreed and got a tenner each for doing it. Bonus!
