Hey folks!

Just wanted to say thanks to steve74, jonbwfc and John_Vella for stepping up to the plate.

The photos they took have exceeded all expectations, so I just wanted to record the thanks of the team here in the Bat Cave. Well done, chaps!

:D

You're not wrong there! In fact I also got stopped twice by some security types asking what I was doing - must have looked a bit dodgy, I'll probably get a dawn raid tomorrow!

jonbwfc and John_Vella... would love to see your photos if they're online, to see which areas I missed!

Unfortunately I sent some of the images direct to Heather, but you can see some of my earlier efforts here. I was taking pics around the University area where there have been a lot of new builds recently.

Some really nice modern buildings there - I had no idea they were developing the university area so much. Looks like a good place to be a student - much better than in my days!

Nice pictures the pair of you, but I must admit I was wondering who was taken pictures of my SLR... ;)

Edit to add: Here is the link, (I think) http://www.flickr.com/photos/39024169@N06/

Can someone let me know if it works?

Thanks.

:)

I love this one John, it looks like the building is transparent around the edges...Reminds me of when the Tardis appears :P

I'm sorry I never saw this thread earlier otherwise I would have tried. I only have a point-and-click camera, but some of the shots may have been useful.

Peter.
