+1. I don't think I've bought something pre-emptively. I tend to buy if I need the same cable for work or the same cable for another device. _________________ He fights for the users.

I have to say at this point though, I seem to have about 5 of every cable I might ever actually need anyway. Got drawers full of 'em...

Not quite drawers but I have one drawer and have three or four of each type of USB cable: A-A, A-B, normal USB, mini-USB, micro-USB, nano-USB*. These have come from various devices, some of which use the same cable.

Just passed my MCITP: Server Administrator exam.
A tad trickier than I thought it would be (50 questions + case studies) but did a 3.5 hour exam in 45 mins so can't grumble too much.
