Is there any hint as to the reason why?

Looks like the second attack on youths at a beach resort may have killed 25-30 rather than the initial reports of 4. Unconfirmed at the moment.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Here's a photo of the (alleged) gunman, named as Anders Behring Breivik. I wonder what Bratty will have to say about the way he's dressed.

Yes as far as I am concerned they are both just as bad as each other. There is only one true religion and there has been no reports of a Jedi going postal. I have friends in Norway but not in Oslo, though they may have friends or family in Oslo.

Are there any claims that this was religiously motivated? I haven't seen any. A lot of people have "Christian" and "Conservative" on their Fakebooc profiles, but relatively few of them go blowing up cities and machine-gunning holiday camps.

It doesn't appear at the moment that religion had anything to do with it. Looks very much more political. The place in Oslo that was attacked was next to the offices of the current governing party and the summer camp island where the massacre was was due to be visited by the Prime Minister of Norway. He (assuming the same guy did both) was apparently going for the government, and what particular deity any of the victims may believe in doesn't appear to have been an issue. Jon

It's just very very sad to hear and read all the things associated with these two acts. (8+(
