I won't care if they do it right :)

But what are the odds of that? ;)

Considering the great first film and the hit and miss nature of those involved, all bets are pretty much off actually :)

Justin Lin talks Terminator

Director drops out of Highlander reboot

http://www.totalfilm.com/news/justin-li ... terminator

Well, at this point they can only fix Terminator the more I think of it (Cameron will be an old man with Avatar sensibilities if he ever came back), and the same goes for Highlander which makes him dropping out a shame IMO...

...

Mike Myers has signed on for Austin Powers 4

http://www.totalfilm.com/news/mike-myer ... n-powers-4

These days, an AP film might seem fresh  , so I don't mind :)

Now now...obviously the remake of Wild Bunch which is another idea to file under the heading "totally unnecessary." Resident Evil 4 ended on such a cliffhanger (Jill!) that I want to know what happens next! ;)

Ted Raimi talks Evil Dead remake

http://www.totalfilm.com/news/ted-raimi ... ead-remake

Hmmm, the previous films got by on kooky charm, let's be honest, and I can't imagine they'll be able to pull that off again. Not with a Hollywood film these days :(

He’s clearly got a vision for 3D, and I’d say that from a technical standpoint, he’s getting it right. I think he’s lost the ability to tell a compelling story, though. That’s the price he’s paid for this venture.
