3cm in the last 24 hours. Too powdery to make a snowball last night but it may be better now, but I have other things I need to do today.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Oliver is now doing a lot better, feeding properly and generally being the perky little chap he normally is. In turn the Wench and I both got a good night's sleep which makes a considerable change for the better.
Onwards and, as the great HK says, sideways.

House sitter sorted, packed and ready to head to Brugges. Just checked the Met Office, That's for every shipping area around the UK at the mo. If the ship goes down tell the search team to listen out for one hell of a grumpy sod swearing his head off.

Morning. We must've had a power cut in the night - the freezer was at 5 degrees, and the heating didn't come on. Here's hoping the day improves as it progresses.

Morning. Long and deep sleep, which usually leaves me feeling out of sorts for the rest of the day. Last night I had mislaid/filed/recycled a piece of paper upon which I had written some important numbers. I looked high and low, but couldn't locate it. I guess I'm going to have to call the party concerned and get the numbers again. Sometimes my filing system* fails completely. Onwards and sideways. *Strategically sifted and randomly placed piles of paper.
