Foggy too - can barely see the edge of the car park.

Morning all,

I hit the gym at lunch time for the first time in a long time, felt pretty good and I'm going again after work.

I went to re-sign up yesterday as I joined a gym with no contracts and cancelled about 18 months ago when I moved jobs. I now work just around the corner from another gym of the same brand (open 24 hours too) and decided to re-join. Anyway, their joining fee is around $100 and then $40 for the access card (as its 24 hours you have to swipe in) plus $35 upfront payment for the last month if you cancel. Anyway, they waived the joining fee as I used to be a member, they cheapened the card fee and they even let me keep the corporate membership I had previously been on. I was pretty happy with that.

Enjoy your day

Morning World,

Steep, uphill climb ahead of me. Daktari appointment yesterday:

Good news is he's got a miracle pill to help me lose weight.

Bad news is I have to have a load of blood tests first to make sure my liver's ok before I start taking it. Bad news is I have 35kg, 77lbs or 5.5stone to lose before I can have the op to remove my gall bladder. Bad news is I have 6 months to do it in. Bad news is no more cow or sheep. Bad news is I have to eat more fish. Bad news is I can't drink more than 2 units a week on the miracle pills. Bad news is miracle pills will probably give me horrendous runny-bum syndrome as well. Bad news is I will have to start taking a multivitamin daily. Bad news is I may have to come off my current pill onto a lower doseage one (and start having visits from Auntie Flow again) because the one I'm on isn't good when mixed with the miracle pills.

So, looks like a mediterranean diet is in my future, swimming, doing body balance and Red wants to start playing squash as well! 3lbs per week...here I come!

Morning world.

Well, good luck with the weight loss Zippy. It'll be for the best, I'm sure.

Me? Just another Thursday. I can never get the hang of Thursdays. Somewhere out there is a job with my name on it, but I just wish it would stop playing bloody hide-and-seek. I've got bills to pay and things I want to buy.

Onwards and sideways.

Good morning all

Still a bit foggy this morning, but the wind is getting up a bit.

I slept surprisingly well last night, and I'm feeling inexplicably upbeat today. :)

Have a wonderful day.

Afternoon all.

Looks like the cloud is finally passing overhead and there is blue sky afoot. Shame the Starwatch programme is finished.

Ho hum, have a great day folks.

Lo peeps

Today sees me dashing through to Inverness for an emergency rheumatology appointment with the consultant. Things are not going well - now that's an understatement.

ION - youngest sprog is misbehaving again but it's not his fault apparently. Blame lies firmly with the parents, specifically the gene pool that is a mix of Jock and Scouser

Onwards and even further sideways than Heather has dared to venture........

Al

Morning.

Doesn't sound good Al. Hope it works out, on both counts.

Today I shall mostly be fettling brass and cast metal bits and bobs into a vague representation of something or other. Probably.

Happy Friday.

*wave*

Afternoon all

Roll on 5pm and the beginning of a four day weekend!!

It was going to be a five day weekend, but the gaffer asked me nicely if I would come in on Wednesday.

I shall mainly be DIYing and firking around with 'puters, but time off is still time off. :) Plus, I have a new game to sink my teeth into.

Have a good one

(positive vibes beamed in Al's general direction)
