There’s a tiny animal that can survive in such extreme environments that it could stay alive in space They’re called tardigrades, but are more commonly known as moss piglets or waterbears. They are small water-dwelling animals with eight legs and their name means “slow walker.” However, what is amazing about these creatures is that they can live in environments that would kill almost any other animal. Some can survive temperatures close to absolute zero and as high as 300 degrees Fahrenheit. They can endure over 1,000 times more radiation than other animals and go over a decade without water. These creatures are so amazing that recent studies have found that even when sent into the vacuum of space they returned alive!

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Just spent nearly £3k on phones and headsets for Warsaw. Can think of better ways to spend that amount of money.

No threats? Only if you never connect to a network, the internet or use any peripherals. You may not be as susceptible to them but they are still there.

I may just have been lucky, but I don't remember ever getting any malware off a scanner.

I appear to have been "required" to order myself a work Blackberry?! I didn't think I was *that* important but apparently my boss is concerned about not being able to contact me during the Olympics madhouse! :D

But in theory you could - especially if it's Firewire. Even Apple's batteries are vulnerable :P

A spot of advice for you. Even Blackberry's have off buttons. :D

The Queen dropped in on a wedding at Manchester Town Hall, while touring the city as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations.

Along with the Duke of Edinburgh, the Queen met newlyweds John and Frances Canning who had booked the venue before the royal visit was announced.

The Monarch even posed for pictures with the couple.
