Is there supposed to be a circle around the outside, because I only get about a quarter pi of an ark which is always green. I've tried on two different computers now, this one Xubuntu and the other Windows 7 but both running the latest Firefox.

Weird.
It should look a bit like... this.

Oh it looks exactly like that before you start. When you click, the circle you see there disappears except for the top left arc.

Can anyone recommend a browser that might work with it under Xubuntu? Firefox is the only HTML5 compliant one I have installed.

Ah, the game itself looks like this.

Would Chrome be worth a try?

OK it makes more sense when it works. 6.7 over all, 10, 7, 6, 3, 6, 8

I got very confused when the colours weren't what I was pointing at, but got the hang of it by the last one.

So Chromium works, but not Firefox. You'd think they'd test it on what is now the most popular browser...

Try Midori - it's Webkit but it's lighter and the UI is lovely.

As for the game: 10/9/8/8/8/9 - 8.7

You don't need the full colour wheel. I tried it with the knackered FF version and still managed an 8.3. :D
